(ARM) Trumpeter SAM 6 and KV 222 Jan 2007 17:02 GMT8
I just got the Trumpeter SAM 6, and KV 2 AFV kit's
and am quite impressed with the quality of them.
I mean almost the same quality (appearance wise)
as the DML kit's, at almost half the price.
ships everywhere, but which to buy....22 Jan 2007 15:21 GMT8
I am looking to get a new plastic model classic sailing ship to put together in
my spare time (which I have a lot of at the moment). From an online shop
preferably in Australia would be good, but overseas is OK too providing they can
ship to Australia.

friction material22 Jan 2007 09:42 GMT23
I'm thinking of friction drive for my next electrically assisted bicycle by
means of a roller driving the tyre.   It used to be common practice to make
such a roller of carberundum material, in fact they were probably small
grinding wheels.   Does anyone know of any better ...
Coolant pumps etc.22 Jan 2007 08:58 GMT2
I'd had a frustrating 3 days with no power. On Thurs & Fri I told
myself I could catch up a bit with work at the weekend, but we didn't
get reconnected until 8pm yesterday.
I didn't fancy 'real' work today, so decided to catch up a bit with
Best British WWI Fighter?21 Jan 2007 23:48 GMT8
I admit I am not real up to date with all the planes that fought in
WWI, but I've never heard of
it before...  The Spad and Sopwith Camel usually get all the press.
What's with the Viper?

Zip Kicker Woes21 Jan 2007 17:50 GMT15
First use of Zip Kicker accelerator last night brought much anguish.  Big
tip to all:  don't use on painted surfaces.
My AZUR I-16 Type 10 in 1/32 scale was completely painted: finished!
Paints used was a combination of Model Master and Floquil.
Warco Mill trips RCD!21 Jan 2007 14:59 GMT11
I recently was given a old Warco Milling machine in fantastic
condition. I installed this into my workshop, (alongside my Myford
super 7) plugged it in, switched on, and pludged the garage into
darkness! The RCD tripped.
A Little Workshop Electrical Advice21 Jan 2007 14:56 GMT11
Hoping that not everyone is in London enjoying themselves and spending
all their pocket money on essential goodies and beer.
I have decided that the workshop electrics need updating now that with
the Bridgeport the machines are taking over. At the moment the supply

Kit or home made vehicles, Question on?21 Jan 2007 02:37 GMT15
This is of a pure interest only at present.
The government run a Single Vehicle Approval scheme that any and all kit
cars that intend to be operated on the road must meet and be inspected
against.
