Best way to decant18 Jan 2007 00:27 GMT10
OK, I gave up on finding Hemi Orange in a bottle.  I bought a spray can
and now need to decant.  I've not done this before (at least not on
purpose).  Any hints on how to do this with as little mess as possible?
Thanks (:>
ER32 Collet Chuck for Lathe17 Jan 2007 22:42 GMT9
I was going to buy one of these for my Seag C6,  then it occurred that if I
picked up a chuck on an MT3 taper I'd be able to use it in the mill as well.
Would I lose anything doing this?
Thanks

Voyager PE for ships17 Jan 2007 15:32 GMT2
I asked about PE details for the Dragon Bismarck a few days ago, got no
response but in the meantime have found that a company called "Voyager"
makes a detail set for the kit that is reasonably priced.  Anyone have
any experience with them?  Is it good quality stuff?
Seafire arrestor hook and rear fuselage17 Jan 2007 00:24 GMT4
Currently accompanying a Hasegawa F-4C across my workbench is a Tamya 1/48
Spitfire which is being converted to a Seafire LIIc using the MDC conversion
kit.
The kit provides a replacement lower rear fuselage to house the A-frame
UK crucible supplier?16 Jan 2007 22:58 GMT4
Crucibles for melting of metals are quite expensive here in Australia,
as they are all imported.
Luckily, my wife is going to visit her parents in Wales, and I've got an
opportunity to have one brought back with her.

MEW subscription again16 Jan 2007 13:03 GMT4
It seems that in spite of the announcement  which Tony Jeffree posted back
in December, ( see below) Magelica aren't bothering to reinstate the
original subscription renewal date unless a complaint is made. I just
received my renewal form which shows one issue deducted. If there ...
Hemi Orange Paint16 Jan 2007 03:51 GMT4
Ok.........It's below zero and still snowing in Colorado Springs.
Another 6 inches in the last 2 days.  The 3 projects I have going have
reached the stage where additional painting is necessary.
I can't paint so I picked up one of the new Hawk 1/4 Scale Hemi Engines
Decals get old ?16 Jan 2007 03:35 GMT17
I gave a kit to a friend of mine recently.  It was a 1/72 Hasegawa
Tornado kit.  I had the kit for about 15 years in my closet.  For a few
years it was stored with the rest of my " stuff " in a storage locker
that was not " air conditioned ".  The decal sheet looked fine however.

Any suggestions?  I have asked several vendors that sell this kit but
no one seems to know.
