I have seen a couple of references to this, in relation to looking for kits,
on this newsgroup and had two questions - what is it? And is it available to
the general public (meaning me) on-line (or some other method)?

OT but useful advice usually found here!
Diesel Ford Transit fuel filler cap lock gets really difficult to turn
key. I've tried cleaning with spirit, WD 40, blowing through with air
line. I'm worried that the key might shear in the lock. Any advice would

I have a collection of India oilstones, some of which have become
hollowed through use.
I read somewhere - I think it was in one of Guy Lautard's books - that
India stones could be re-faced by rubbing them on a sheet of emery or

I bought an Alumilite kit years ago but never got around to trying it. Lost
a small part from a kit that lent itself to onesided casting so decided to
copy the undamaged one.
Q1. Is there a shelf life on this stuff? Unopened, opened?

Why is this?  I have some models that have both Japanese and English
instruction booklets, and the Japanese one has more isometric details
that the English.  It is also in colour!
Are Japanese more engineering inclined than us English speaking? I hope

Having just collected my Excel die filer (courtesy of Tim Leech,

It's a bench top model, bearing no number.
