More than I need ...23 Feb 2007 07:24 GMT13
I have some Fomblin oil and some cable protector, both of which have been
mentioned here on recent threads, in excess to my requirements.
The Fomblin oil is Solvay YL VAC 06/6, which I believe is the thinnest grade
available, and retails at £128 per kilogram in kilogram lots - yes, ...
Paint Prep Question23 Feb 2007 05:26 GMT4
Project:  Large (1/6) scale R/C model that needs to be repainted and
decaled.  The car is an F1 car.  Lots of swoopy shapes, curves and
contours.
Issue:  Little time to do the project - short deadline.
Marking Help for P-47N23 Feb 2007 02:18 GMT4
I'm looking for clues to wether the P-47N's of 463 FS / 507FG had the
blue triangle on their tails on both sides. So far Google, Squadron: In
Action, Detail and Scale, Walkaround, Air Force Colors Vol 3 or P-47 in the
Pacific has given me the final verdict.

Which is appropriate for a Grant serving in the Western Desert campagns and
when did they change from early to late pattern?
Decal help...22 Feb 2007 18:53 GMT3
Anyone know where I can find a 1/72 sheet for a lo-vis VA-174 A-7? I checked
Microscale and found some things I was looking for, but apparently Super
Scale (the supplier) is only producing 1/48 now, so all of Microscale's 1/72
sheets are old stock. Thanks in advance!

Lindberg's Acquisition of Ex-Testors Molds22 Feb 2007 15:30 GMT6
I saw Lindberg's New Releases catalog on their website and it looks like they took over the
Testors plastic and diecast molds, including the old Hawk and IMC stuff.  Don't know how much of
it will be re-issued, but I wouldn't be surprised if Lindberg got some of the more popular
