I'm doing a moulding job for a new customer at the moment, and having
made the tooling he needs a last minute change done before they can
use the parts.
We can't retool for this in time (new tool with sliding cores needed)

I just picked this up from the ATIS stationary Engine group.

I am building several card stock models and need to get some blank
card stock in the following sizes:
8 1/2 x 11 - letter size
8 1/2 x 14 - legal size and

Was in Sam's Club today and saw this curio cabinet.
3 adjustable glass shelves.
Mirrored back.
2 halogen lights in top.

Revell are planning to release a 1/72 EE Lightning in October.

Does anyone know anything about this?  Will it be a new model or a reboxing
of the aged Hasegawa kit?

I have a Revell 07316 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider 1/24 model kit that is
missing the red sprue that has the hood and trunk lids on it.  The box was
sealed and the inner plastic has not been opened, but there is no sprue
assembly for these parts.  I have similar Protar and Italeria ...

Anybody any experience/opinions of Compucut?
Looking at the x1 project since I have one of those.

The 2007 release list on cybermodeler has a bunch of aircraft kits from a
company called HobbyBoss. Does anyone here know what sort of price and
quality to expect from these folks?

Please can I pick your assembled brains
I am finishing off making a Hemingway fixed steady for my MYFORD 7 and this involves tapping the finger adjustors in the aluminium casting for a quarter whit cap screw.
I am far from happy with the results in that the new taps did not cut ...

I'm looking for some (Stainless preferred) M8 threaded rod with a left-hand
1.0mm pitch. Google hasn't turned up anything....
Anyone know of a supplier for one 1000mm long?

I noticed some gear cutters on eBay and wondered how they were used.
Some have what appear to be a taper shank on them and others are similar
to horizontal arbour milling cutters, but not!
