I bought a 20" faceplate in an internet auction, collected it last
week. I was misinformed about the size of camlock fitting, I wanted
D1-8 but this is D1-11.
Just posting this here in case anyone is crying out for a D1-11

I need to make one of my floor standing pillar drills considerably taller
for a special long running job. What sort of "Tube" is used? I know its
steel, I know its 2 3/4" diameter, but its not ERW. The surface finish is
above the average stock material.Unlikely I would think to ...

I have a question, truly not a rant, so please don't take it as such.
I build mostly 1/48 and 1/32 a/c.  Sometimes I include the smallest fishing
leader I can as an antenna wire, sometimes I don't.  I  am always gigged at
contests when I don't have antenna wire.

My lathe has several oiler points, these are like small round flush
