Seems the 1/2" x 18 thread has been dealt with so how about this one? Downfeed adjustable stop on my mill/drill is 1/2" x 20 TPI. Stop nuts look like normal thin hex nuts and are plated. Henry

| milling...? | 20 Mar 2007 14:35 GMT | 11 |

| Disaster strikes! | 20 Mar 2007 05:28 GMT | 28 |
I'm building an Airfix 1/48 Seafire FR47. Well... "building" isn't really the correct word. I'm currently destroying it... I intended to put an Aires resin cockpit in it. The Aires parts are beautifully detailed and look absolutely superb when they are painted up.

Got to do a small repair for an old lady that lives up the road, which involves making a new ferrule to fit into the arm of a magnifying light. Current part is a zinc casting where the internal thread has stripped off.
