1/2" x 20 TPI?20 Mar 2007 20:36 GMT3
Seems the 1/2" x 18 thread has been dealt with so how about this one?
Downfeed adjustable stop on my mill/drill is 1/2" x 20 TPI.
Stop nuts look like normal thin hex nuts and are plated.

Looking for 1/32 Me-262 Sturmvogel kit20 Mar 2007 20:21 GMT3
I believe this kit was made by Revell or revell of Germany. It is the
one with the cannon nose. If you know of one or where to search for
one I would apprecaite any leads.
Thanks.

I have Googled in vain to find out whether it is possible to easily buy
reasonably large (say 1m x 0.5m) sheets of glassfibre material 0.8mm or 1mm
thick without any copper cladding.
I want to make some A1 sized portfolio cases for keeping drawings and

One of the things I make calls for an approx. 30mm half round cut into the
end of a piece of approx 38mm tube, so as to mount a smaller tube across the
end, more or less in a T shape.  The 38mm tube is about 1.2mm wall or less,
high quality seamless cro-mo cycle tube and thus quite ...
Hole drilling problem20 Mar 2007 12:47 GMT5
I had 8 off 15mm holes to drill in a 1.125" thick disc of mild steel
on an 80 mm PCD. I have a 4" chuck mounted on my 6" Vertex rotary
table and there was a 60mm recess in the back of my disc so the chuck
was wound out to grip. The whole plot is mounted on the Bridge port,
ISP recommendations? Sort of OT20 Mar 2007 09:03 GMT12
I've had enough of Onetel, the sevice has gone from ordinary to
completely diabolical over the last couple of months, email has been
off yet again since yesterday evening yet their 'status phone line' is
reporting that all is wonderful and nobody answers the support phone.
Disaster strikes!20 Mar 2007 05:28 GMT28
I'm building an Airfix 1/48 Seafire FR47.
Well...  "building" isn't really the correct word.  I'm currently destroying
it...   I intended to put an Aires resin cockpit in it. The Aires parts are
beautifully detailed and look absolutely superb when they are painted up.
1/2" x 18 TPI thread?20 Mar 2007 04:51 GMT12
Got to do a small repair for an old lady that lives up the road, which
involves making a new ferrule to fit into the arm of a magnifying
light. Current part is a zinc casting where the internal thread has
stripped off.
