I need to mount a pair of heavy copper straps each 6mm x 45mm x 150mm
so that they stick out from an insulation board by about an inch but
are affixed very stongly along the 150mm length, and the easiest way
seems to be to braze or silver solder the 150mm length to the single

Any suggestions for supplier (mail order or online) for metric fine taps,

I am building an old Lindberg LST model ship, 1:245 scale.  This is
for my dad whose uncle was on LST 454 in WW2.  Not a great model but
the best LST I could find.  Now, the problem is this, where can I find

After all the helpful comments, I am approaching the end.  I
resurrected a 15 Hp. Lister engine from an old cement mixer and this
is now OK. I got hold of some suitable 3 sheaf pullies which required

Just installed a small surface grinder in my workshop, should I b
worried about my other machines ? ie dust from the wheel getting int
them. I know I can cover them but what's the differance between
surface grinder and a normal double ended grinder as far as this goes
