Is there such a thing as allthread where there is a tapped hole through the
length?
Anyone know where to get some?
Thanks,

Mustang wing painting25 Apr 2007 19:10 GMT8
I have heard, and have a book that claims, that all Mustang wings were
primed and painted, with rivet depressions filled, to allow laminar
flow. A photo in the book shows a wing at the factory in prime.
However, I have other photos that show units in 1944 that are natural
Bargain Dovetail Cutter How Do I Hold It25 Apr 2007 17:27 GMT12
At the recent Taunton show I was forced (at the price I just could not
leave it there) to buy a fair sized 60deg dovetail cutter. Problem is
that I guessed incorrectly as it turns out that I could use it in the
Bridgeport.

Van Dorn Valvemaster- refacer24 Apr 2007 23:20 GMT3
Just acquired one of the above from the 1950s (serial no. 3 :-).
A quick strip shows it to be very well made and eminently restorable. A
manual would help me understand some of the more esoteric jigs. Does anyone
have one or be prepared to copy one for beer-tokens please?
DRO- Another Follow-Up24 Apr 2007 20:44 GMT3
In my previous thread on this subject I mentioned I had chosen the wrong
scale for the Z-axis of my FB-2 mill. I contacted Alan Ward at
Machine-DRO, and he was fantastically helpful; I can strongly recommend
their service.

Gentlemen,
Daily my ears get more sore from the ear bashing I am getting from storing
at least 40 years of  ME in our caravan and as we are about to use it in the
next few weeks I am offering FOC the whole lot from around the 40s to the
Glue for expanded polystyrene ?24 Apr 2007 14:15 GMT16
What do the 'team' suggest as a good glue for expanded polystyrene
sheet to stick to itself? I am making up some temporary formwork for
an epoxy fibreglass moulding and intend to make the structure from
expanded polystyrene. When it was popular to stick patterned
Small batch of parts wanted24 Apr 2007 12:16 GMT6
Can anyone here give me a price to produce 50 or 100-off steel disks,
36mm diameter, 6mm thick with a 3.16" hole in the middle from free
cutting mild steel.  O/D is not critical, and I could probably adapt a
little to suit a standard bar size.  Too small a quantity for our
Airfix revival (Yet Again)!24 Apr 2007 11:03 GMT48
Have no idea how you feel about the re-launch of Airfix yet again,
but unless Hornby are seriously going to drop all the old dross it
seems to me that in a few years it will be bust yet again. Let's face
it 75% of the Airfix range is dross, out of date and totally
Solid Works. 3D design24 Apr 2007 10:29 GMT27

ship. It has many time saving features. Have a loot at the website and
Anybody passing by Carlisle , Cumbria?24 Apr 2007 09:32 GMT2
Is anybody going up North from down South? Somewhat OT, but I need to
get a brace of motorcycle handlebars up to Carlisle. They are not flat
and I would like them not to be flat when they are arrive. So I'm a
bit wary of using Her Majesty's Postal Dis-service.
