Fractional Caliper16 Apr 2007 11:09 GMT11
"Now 'ere's a funny thing"- to quote the late, great Max Miller.
I was at the Taunton ME show earlier today and came across a new
product just received into stock by our old friends at Tracey Tools - a
digital caliper with the usual button to switch between imperial and metric

J&L Catalogue15 Apr 2007 15:56 GMT8
I'm looking for a 7/16" UNEF (28 tpi) tap and was wondering if someone could
just quickly check their J&L catalogue for one?
I've looked on their website but remember someone saying that their
catalogue is much more comprehensive (as well as easier to use).

Finished Trumpeter Stryker15 Apr 2007 11:44 GMT3
I just finished the Trumpeter STryker kit.  I built it for my
son-in-law as a gift.  It is the Stryker he was on in Iraw when he got
wounded.  It came our very nice.  I have posted some progress pictures
in the binaries group.

Hannants14 Apr 2007 21:53 GMT7
I'll be making a trip to the RAF museum at Hendon soon, and I can't go
without a pilgrimage to nearby Hannants...I was wondering though, I
know it's a huge distribution warehouse, but is it also a shop-ie open
to the general public?

Helicoil Help!14 Apr 2007 13:25 GMT7
I've just taken the head & barrels off my old Honda commuter bike, and
found some previous mechanic (who has since left the country,
fortranately for him) has stripped the threads on one of the head
studs.

Anybody know who makes these?
1/35 Italian Figures?14 Apr 2007 08:37 GMT2
Just realized that neither the major figure makers, Tamiya and DML/
Dragon have never made a set of
1/35 Italian figures.
Was the Italian Army in WWII so insignificant as to not merit any
Herman Graf's Fw-190A514 Apr 2007 04:31 GMT4
I have one of the relatively new Eduard 1/48 scale Fw-190A5 kits and decals
for Herman Graf's aircraft.  I thought I saw somewhere a while ago where one
of the resin makers had done cowl side inserts with the extended
supercharger intakes for this kit but I can't remember who did ...

Replacement Motor14 Apr 2007 02:10 GMT2
I've just bought a Super 7 on eBay which is currently single phase. I
have been used to an ML7 with a 3ph dual voltage motor running off a VFD
and rather than put that back to single phase I want to buy a new motor
and convert the new one to 3ph.
