Machining A Ball And Socket On A Lathe31 May 2007 23:23 GMT20
A project requires me to produce a ball and socket joint but I am stuggling
as to how I go about produce the socket... (Ball diameter is 150mm to give
you an idea of size)
Is there a tool that you can you use to cut an internal radius on a lathe?

I've got a 1.2mm drill snapped off in some brass, is there any way
dissolving it out?  I thinkI remember something about Alum.

Tonight the local CBS outlet ran a story on a gentleman who had
served on the Missouri during the Korean action.  He decided to build
his own in his workshop.  It took him 4 years but he has a beautiful
1/96th Missouri with operating radar masts, rotating turrets and lights
