Does anyone out there have access to or know where I might find
drawings of the Napier Sabre engine as used inthe Hawker Typhoon/
Tempest aircraft of family. I have pleanty of pictures but no drawings

21 kits up for auction this week.  Included are 1/48 Tamiya Shiden and
chrome-plated F-84G with Thunderbirds markings, 1/48 Nichimo Mustang,
and 1/72 MiG-23 & 27 from Academy, Hasegawa MiG-25, some less common
Japanese WWII aircraft kits, and an Italeri Ju52 minesweeper (the

I finally got my kit.  Looking at it, it purports to be a D25 but it has a
flat (non-corrugated) floor that, I believe first appeared in the D30.  Does
anyone know if Gabreski's aircraft (as depicted with the kit decals) had a
flat or corrugated floor?  Also, I don't remember ...

Anyone have a snap tite Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine kit # 6815 from Polar
Lights? My 5 year old saw it in an old catalog and wants one, unfortunately
is discontinued and none on ebay right now. anyone have an extra one packed
away that they want to trade or sell for a decent price ...

I am as new to this as the newest. I have at last got the ebay super
into the cellar and levelled.

There are a number of techniques for weathering armor models.  The
latest seems to be a heavy dose of rust nodules on armor.  
I know that how they appear in many outdoor exhibits especially those
in Aberdeen.  But I don't believe they had the time to develop in

I've now cut a decent register for my new collet chuck,  but not getting the
sort of runout I expected - 0.025mm 5mm from the chuck.  I've marked the
back plate so it always goes on the (C6) Spindle the same orientation as the

I know this is far removed from models, but.....
I've got fed up with struggling to pull stuff apart with kit which is
only just, or not quite, up to the job. The time/money wasted would be
better spent on some bigger kit, but where to get it from?

My perfectly serviceable but ~12 year old birding telescope (good quality
with ED glass) has a female Imperial threaded socket for the eyepiece,
~28.42mm OD measured on a mating eyepiece male thread.
I've just bought a newer, more powerful eyepiece with a slightly larger

Am planning to build a Corsair and Hellcat in RN markings. Does anyone know
if the interior colors would be US or British interior green. Also what
would the color of the gear wells be.

I did the snap togeather ,un-frickin-believeable!,theres at least 2-3
parts that wouldn't sat connected,& putting he body over the
chassis,good luck.
