Getting a new collet chuck made12 May 2007 12:15 GMT1
How much would it cost to get made something similar to the chuck
shown in the link below? This chuck is some form of uncommon autolock
type, I'd like one made that would accept int30 tools. Any ideas?

I need to cut a filter thread into a 1.25" telescope eyepiece barrel
with 1" I.D. and from my thread gauge its Whitworth 40G 1/8". I have
one of the little Warco mini lathes but its metric with various change
gear wheels from 20 to 80 teeth. The thread needs to be an internal

A fellow group member and I are both experiencing a little issue with
the 200 series QCTPs fitted to our BH600 lathes. With the post central
bolt tightened to a "normal" level the post sometimes rotates when the
tool holder is unlocked/locked. Being a practical sort my solution has

I need some advice on how to paint the aft banisters on the Victory.
The black base coat has been put on, I am attempting to paint the
Sunflower Yellow onto the banisters.

Just got this baby at the hobby shop today, and it is really a beaut.
Got the PE kit also.  Altogether it set me back bout $53.
I just did a Google search (it is my friend sometimes) and was able to
download about 8 pictures, including a couple of a built up model.  In
