Mobilgear 63216 Jun 2007 22:54 GMT19
Anyone know of a source of small quantities of Mobilgear 632? I can
buy 20 litre drums, but I only want about a quart to fill the newly
rebuilt gearhead of my Pedrazzoli Mec Brown cold cut off saw.
Equivelents are Esso Spartan EP320, Shell Omala Oil 220, Texaco Meropa

Compliments to RESICAST16 Jun 2007 20:11 GMT3
This is for anyone who has wondered about buying RESICAST models on line.
I ordered a 6 pounder AT gun and crew direct from RESICAST.
There were some post problems and a mix up over the order, but I have to say
I was most impressed by their customer service and how they dealt with ...
Inverter wiring Again16 Jun 2007 20:08 GMT10
I have recently bought a Viceroy TDS with a 3 phase motor and to run
it from my domestic mains I`ve bought a inverter.
I have read some earlier posts regarding inverter wiring and I have
hopefully understood most of it.
GATO class sub model (Revell)16 Jun 2007 16:02 GMT17
So what is the overall consensus on this model by those who are working
on it - good, bad, indifferent?  IIRC it was a closed model so I'm
thinking there would be few parts & little detail to it, thus I'm not so
sure it'd look that great since it's 52" long (according to the box) ...
J&S 540 Weight16 Jun 2007 03:46 GMT13
Anyone know what the weight of a J & S 540 grinder is please?
And do they easily break down into a few lumps for easier transport,
i.e. table off etc?
Thanks
Guns...........15 Jun 2007 23:15 GMT10
Anyone know the name of the company that makes make 1-1 scale plastic
models of firearms.  I'm after an M16 rifle for a museum display. They
used to be made during the 70's -80's, but I  cant find any info on
current suppliers or manufacturers.  Any help greatly appreciated.
Why Aren't There More Figures Like This?15 Jun 2007 20:47 GMT12
for around 50 years we have been stuck with pilots sitting in the
cockpit, staring straight ahead with their arms firmly fused to their
thighs.
As 1/32 is the common scale for large scale planes, ignoring this
Steel rule longer than 1000mm15 Jun 2007 16:40 GMT15
A quick "Google" didn't bring many results for a flat steel or stainless
rule longer than 1000mm at a sensible price, any ideas where to look?

SAAB Shark UAV15 Jun 2007 00:22 GMT3
Just received a 1/72 scale kit of this bizarre bird. It's cast in pink
(!) resin and has only five parts including landing gear with wheels
attached and a figure of an officer.
As the name implies, it looks like a whale shark with canted twin tail
Quality Tools14 Jun 2007 23:53 GMT11
I looking to kit myself out with a couple of sets of screwdrivers (slotted,
pozi, torx). Currently looking at "Stanley Dynagrip Pro" screwdrivers. Are
there any other good quality screwdrivers I should be taking a look at?
