I've just received this sheet today. I hate it! Hate it! Hate it! Hate it! Why? Because it has blown my carefully crafted F-4 building plan right out of the water! ;-) There are two schemes which have gone right to the top

| F-4J to F-4C | 07 Jul 2007 14:27 GMT | 19 |
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to accurately convert a 1/48 Hasegawa F-4J Phantom II to an F-4C? I want to use the J kit due to its recessed panel lines. Also who has the best F-4C cockpit?

| Nickel plating | 07 Jul 2007 11:15 GMT | 12 |
Does anyone have experience of DIY nickel plating? There appear to be several firms selling kits of chemicals but I wonder if there are many snags that can cause a poor quality finish. ISTR that it is normal to copper plate steel before nickeling - will

| make a new window (clear parts forming) | 07 Jul 2007 07:54 GMT | 2 |
I need to make a replacement cylindrical window for an old model I'm making. About 1" in diameter, 3/4" tall. Any suggestions?? I've thought about heating up a metal rod, they wrapping a thin piece of plexi around it, but I'm not sure if that will craze the inside.

| Recently At least half I Want From Squadron is Out Of Stock A Diecast Store? | 07 Jul 2007 06:50 GMT | 11 |
Less and less I think of Squadron as a model company and see it as a pre-made toy company. I have better luck with Roll Models in terms of having them tell me when they expect items to come in. I have Squadron hold onto my credit card number so long I forget I have items out

| Chuck choice | 06 Jul 2007 17:20 GMT | 9 |
I'm after a 100mm chuck for my ML7. Is there a huge difference in quality between the TOS chuck at £65 and the Pratt Burnerd at nearly double that, or indeed the Toolmex threaded body one that Chronos do for £180?

| What's the difference between flat, matte, and gloss? | 06 Jul 2007 12:06 GMT | 7 |
This may seem like a stupid question, but I'm a beginner so it's temporarily permissible to be ignorant. I don't know the definition of "matte." Dictionary.com defines it as "flat," so I need some clarification.
