Tool Grinder import from the USA29 Jul 2007 07:05 GMT10
Following Bob Minchin's topic about importing a tool grinder from the
USA (Grizzly Tools - 22/7/07), I replied with a few, hopefully useful,
observations

"New" 1:144 Dragon Panzer Korps Rail kits28 Jul 2007 23:35 GMT5
Anyone seen these yet? They claim the track is new, does anyone know if it's
compatible with the original sets? I had kind of a neat display plannes, I
needed 1 more left and 1 right turnout to get enough tracks to display all
of the rail related items together in a relatively ...

the key to understanding 2001 isn't the book which was

with the star are the two best early clarke stories.
HaT Industrie armour kits28 Jul 2007 21:27 GMT3
I would like to try my hand at some 1/35 armour models. But firstly, I'd
like to hone my weathering skills and try out a few new techniques on some
1/72 armour models. Although I fully intend to complete each model, they
will be pretty much glorified paint dummies.
Fritz studer grinderFH 450 serial number 32728 Jul 2007 20:28 GMT1
Having taken delivery of the above mentioned surface grinder, I am having
second thoughts as to keep it or not. Although this looks an excellent
machine, apparently the hydraulics stopped working on the cross feed,
advised it could just need bleeding. There looks to be something ...

sticky tape27 Jul 2007 22:54 GMT3
Slightly off topic, I am making some display frames for some valuable
historical mechanical parts, basically box picture frames. What is the best
type of masking tape or similar to use to secure the back board to the
frame - I want it to last and I think ordinary masking tape will ...
Where's teh _REST_ of the modern 1/72 armour?27 Jul 2007 21:44 GMT2
Hey all!
I've been patiently waiting for the last 25 years for some modern
armor kits.  ESCI made a great series and then went under.  Just
lately Italeri and Revell have picked up where they left off.  Quite
Gato ... nice.  But how about a Sturgeon class sub ?27 Jul 2007 21:12 GMT2
I was at Hobby lobby the other day and finnally got my hands on a
1/72 Revell Gato kit.  But all I did was look at the kit ... not buy
it.  ( Funny I delivered the first 53 ft. trailer load of these kits
to Squadron months ago ).  For some reason I can't get all excited
