I hope this is not a repetition- I posted the question over 24 hours
ago and it hasn't shown up, so I assume my message did not make it

could someone give me a bit of advice on stepper motors and drivers, i
have built a cnc router and i bought a complete kit of steppers and
drivers plus power supply off e bay, but the motors are not strong
enough, if i attempt to run them any quicker than a snails pace they

I recently bought a small compressor which has (appaently) 1/4" BSP
fittings  -  I haven't measured them, just accepted what is in the
manual   (There is no mention of BSPT).

Currently I'm building the nice Revell Typhoon.Will be in RAF markings.But
some sources said the cockpit is Dark Admiralty Grey.Can't find it in the
Humbrol paint range.If I see some sample on the web,it is a very dark

Whats the nornal way to connect up 1/8" OD copper steam pipes
(actually compressed air in this case)? I have made a union and nut,
but I am not sure whether I should solder a ring onto the pipe,

Airfix has announced two new dioramas as seen on Hannant's.
One is an RAF set with Spitfire Ia, Airfield Refuelling set, RAF
Personnel Set and a diorama base. The other s an USAAF set with P-51D,
Jeep with Trailer, USAAF Personnel Set and dorama base with Nissen

This is a 1/48th scale tank kit from Hobby Boss.  It has a complete
interior, including the engine, crew compartment and turret interioir.
Yep, it is all there.  I have completed the hull interior for the most
part.  It is a challenge.
