I know the question of fluorescent lighting for rotating machinery has
come up here before, general consensus has been it's not a real
problem.
My 'new' lathe has an RS fluorescent worklight, with one of those 2D

I'm finally finishing a 2-year bout with AMS - putting the final touches on
my sliced and diced HobbyCraft T-33.  I am putting on Aeromaster decals.
However, I noticed that the glue residue from the decals is reacting with
the Alclad II paint.  I'm now leaving sticky, gooey ...

from the "detail crazies".  Maybe I can actually finish a model this way.
They definitely have their share of details, but there won't be anyone
nitpicking it because I changed this or that.  But I digress. ...
Suds pump04 Sep 2007 20:16 GMT1
Some time ago I asked this group for help in purchasing/making a
cheap and cheerful suds pump.  Many thanks to those who responded.
I now have it up and running.  The pump and tank came from a BMW and
cost 99p from a car breaker.  The PSU came from the junk box and is
Automotive ball joint reamer04 Sep 2007 19:29 GMT7
I am looking for ideas!
I wanted to make a ball joint taper reamer.  I believe the taper angle is
7.15 degrees. 1:8.
I need to go up to around 19 or 20 mm diameter from about 11 mm.

USS Intrepid - Did it have painted deck numbers in WWII or not ?03 Sep 2007 06:00 GMT11
seen both versions.  The old Revell kit shows it on the side panels of
the finished kit, the box art does not show it. And I've seen pics on
a google search both with and without #11.
the kit calls for deck tan.  that color looks so toy like, at least on
