Warco Mill04 Oct 2007 08:16 GMT6
I am a newbie on this group. Has anyone any experience with the Warco
WM-14 Variable Speed Mill. I am considering one but may not be able to
get to the Fosse next weekend to have a 'hands on' look at one. I have
a Tom Senior 'E' at the moment which runs rather to slowly for some
"Printing" our own parts!04 Oct 2007 08:07 GMT21
The current issue of FineScale Modeler has an article on having
custom pieces made by "printing" from a CAD drawing. We can't scan in
a wheel & copy it yet, but we're getting close! The folks who 'print'
the part are here.   www.printapart.com       Amazing!

cleaner, not the shaker scoop.  It has dual carbs.

Hi, I'm a noobie on the group. I've just got the subject mill up and
running. It appears to be quite a modern, metric version and is in
excellent condition. Unfortunately there is only one pair of table
feed gears. The gears produce the slowest feed available: does anybody

German Soldiers with Bicycles.03 Oct 2007 13:29 GMT1
I had earlier finished the kit with a single soldier and bicycle and
it turned out well.  So I picked up the next kit with two soldiers
that included two new figures.   One bicycle I notched the front
vertical bar so that I can pose the front wheel at an angle.  The main

Anyone has seen detailed photos of this set?  (built or not build) I'd like
to know about details before I order this one. Is this as good as metal

I'm rearranging my garage and so need to get rid of some stuff:
Fabco Star bench mount pillar drill.  Looks about 40 years old, well
used - missing the table, but has a compound  vice mounted on the base.
Single phase. Substantial drill complete and working.  £20
Slightly O/T Power Tool Question03 Oct 2007 02:52 GMT4
I have a 2" chop saw that works great on metal and wood but it runs a
little too fast for plastic.  I would like to "dial it down".  I think
at lower speed it would work great on plastic as well.  I have seen
the foot pedal type rheostats but I was wondering if anyone sells one
Thin Tufnol Sheet?03 Oct 2007 00:35 GMT8

checked Ebay, without much luck)

Right after checking wether it runs, I checked the oil level and rushed to a
precision-plus (www.precisionplus.com) dealer near Munich to get a new fill
of vacuum pump oil. The old one was only three spoonfull of ...
You've never had it so good02 Oct 2007 19:41 GMT30
In 1957, Harold Macmillan, made a speech in Bedford, UK, to his fellow
Conservatives in which he gave the opinion that "Let us be frank about
it: most of our people have never had it so good". In the speech he
celebrated the success of Britain's post-war economy.
