I have a compressor that does not have an automatic cut-off switch, I either let the safety valve blow or keep turning it off manually. So I purchased some Sealey parts (incidentally remarkably cheap - £4.99 for the pressure switch and £1.99 for the gauge!) from their SA2250 parts ...

thought I would try out a liquid mask for the first time. The instructions say to not paint on a surface that you want to remain clear as it may fog the finish....test on a piece of lexan first. mmmmm....... this was listed in one of those "items that others have

I have a lorch lathe that has a 3 phase motor on that I want to run o an inverter. As the star point is in the motor does anyone know a goo source for cheap 3 phase motors that are star / delta wound with terminals.

I have just aquired an old geared head drill press. The motor has wires so I have cut the star point off and paired them up in delta an conected to an Mitsubishi inverter i have inverter goes up to 50Hz an reads 230V on the output terminals but no movement from the motor.

Following on from my query about this I picked up a cheap 5HP 3 phase 400-440v inverter. Wired it in to the "real" output of the Transwave transformer (ie single phase 415volt-ish). Looped the 3rd phase into this. Runs fine until I try to run the lathe at top speed, at which
