I've now got this sorted.
I now have a single phase 240-415 transformer feeding a 10HP 3phase
415volt inverter (the extra input is just linked in). It's *only just*
happy starting the 3HP motor on my CVA lathe in top speed (2200rpm)

thought I read years ago that it can be simpler to cut metal rod in
the correct size for biplane rigging. lasts forever, won't sag, etc.
did I read it here?       if so, what is the closest gauge should use
for 1/32 ???

I have the Stuka, 109 and SBD.  Are they at least close?  Most people bang
on MB kits, but I was actually fairly impressed with the detail,
particularly on the SBD.  But then I'm just a rank amateur, so I could be

Somewhile ago, I bought a motor controller for an industrial fan.
The fan motor is brand new, 3 phase, dual voltage, 2.2kw, and wired in star
configuration.

I have recently brought a Clark CL500M combined lathe and miller (yes I
realise it has some limitations, but its only for light use in my garage..)
my problem is that it is in bits! I have managed to put it all together,
