I have a 2" diameter bar of steel 36" long with a 1" 'droop' in the middle. This is one of the two bars that the fork lift forks slide on on the front bucket of a JCB so it is likely to be a bit stronger / tougher than mild steel. Is it feasable to straighten it under a

Anybody know if the Russians used some of the more commonly available vehicles in WWI and the continuing internal wars into the 1920s? I'm thinking of British Mk.IV, German A7V, French FT.17 tanks: Mack Bulldog trucks, American Ford Model T trucks, ambulances, etc.

I recently noted that a lathe owner was lubricating his changewheels with "Chainsaw oil", as it was "sticky" and did not fly off the wheels. Any comments?

gonna do 2 days of modeling indoors and want to avoid the epoxy I usually use due to the fumes.. can I use white glue for the plaster? not sure how much strength it has with plaster.....white glue takes longer to set.
