over the holiday I had cause to make a 1/4" whitworth knob.
1" diameter, 1/4" thick, 1/4 whit hole in the middle.
Simple enough job, but I only had some 1" x 1/4" Alu flatstock
(actually an old shelf bracket!!).

have on preorder a 1/6 Tamiya CB750 Four.  The plastic for the painted
sections is a brown/copper color. For the price and size, I would like
to have the paint make the kit look a little less toy like.
any bike builders here who have figured out what paint best replicates

Is this some ancient Lindberg kit?  Saw this in  the Historic Aviation
catalog...Curious plane that would be a good addition to the Blue
Angels kits I try to find...
Did they use a different color blue back then?  this looks a lot more
Discount Color Contacts - How To Get The Unbeatable Deal16 Jan 2008 18:57 GMT1
Is it safe to buy color contacts online?
If you compare color contact lens prices at the doctor's office and at
online contact lens shops, you will see that online you can get your
lenses 50 to 70 percent cheaper. But you may ask, why such huge

Micheal Benolkin at the Cybermodeler Online site is doing a good job

It appears that Airfix are, for better or worse, determined to WORK
How Old is the Tamiya 89569  1/25 T34/85 ?15 Jan 2008 20:31 GMT5
The instructions are dated 2001, but this thing must be from the early
1970's. I like that old style Tamiya painting box art.  The
instructions still call  for painting the

Ideally they would be stainless philips head, but slotted steel would ...
HO Scale "Ratte" giant tank15 Jan 2008 11:55 GMT13
I may have mentioned this in a earlier thread, but thought it might be
interesting to repost it as a separate thread for anyone that missed it.
