| Black or Rubber Paint For Tank Bogies ?? | 24 Feb 2008 18:49 GMT | 4 |
Rubber paint seems to look a lot more accurate, black looks too clean, or does the rubber on tank bogies stay black? Rubber paint has a mix of grey and brown added which looks a lot more realistic.

| Ok, Etch-heads... | 24 Feb 2008 08:07 GMT | 3 |
This finally looks like an etch folding tool that is both useful AND priced more like something I'd be willing to pay - around $18 US: http://www.hyperscale.com/2008/reviews/accessories/rbproductionsflipr5reviewrk_1.htm ...I may have to look for one. Or two.

I just got in Lindberg's re-issue of their Civil War Confederate Horse Team. Remember the PC BS that went on a while back over the Dukes of Hazzrd "Gen. Lee" kit re-issue & the Confederate flag? Well, not only does the box for this kit say "Confederate" but it also has

| drilling holes in soft open-cell foam | 23 Feb 2008 08:30 GMT | 16 |
Does anyone have an advice on how to drill neat round holes in soft open-cell foam/sponge (polyurethane)? I am trying to make ~1/4" holes in a ~2 inch thick sponge. I tried regular drills (very ugly-looking results, or the foam just gets wrapped around the drill) and an old
