I would like to buy a small lathe.  I want to try and make, in
particular, a stationary steam engine.  I came across this lathe from an
enthusiasts site, and wondered what the very experienced modellers on
this NG thought of it.

economically ever since he came to power.  He did this by breaking
with the Jewish international bankers, and trading by barter, thus
bartering the surplus of goods Germany had, with the surplus of goods

How should I make this?30 Mar 2008 21:23 GMT26
I need to make several 'Top Hats' out of stainless steel, below is a sort of

The part is about 45 diameter and 45 long and will have a wall thickness of
1.5mm thick. The flange (brim) is 3mm thick and 48 diameter.
Can anyone say anything about thius small lathe?30 Mar 2008 18:00 GMT3

it's a gap bed lathe. Actually, I think it might not be identifiable to
a
specific manufacturer. Thanks.

what you think is the best 3d design package for the home computer. I
worked before retiring with industry 3d systems like PDS and PDMS but
they cost a fortune and require massive back up. I use 2d microstation

I'm not much of an expert at all on German WW II fighters.
