Accuracy of dies?03 Mar 2008 12:25 GMT6
I bought a new 8mm x 1.25 mm die last week from one of our Northern on-
line specialists.  After cutting the thread I needed using a tailstock
die holder in the lathe, I happened to check it against a few
commercial screws, and found a consistent error.  Over 20 threads the
myford super7 3 phase conversion (again)03 Mar 2008 08:05 GMT6
I'd like to convert my Super 7 to 3 phase. I think I will go the
inverter route. Can anyone point me at a solution that won't require a
lot of electrical troubleshooting. I haven't got 3 phase to the house.
Thanks
Eduard's Photo Etched03 Mar 2008 03:42 GMT5
I just ordered a Euard's B-17G exterior photo etched kit.  How do you apply
the pieces to the model?  Is it okay to use regular model plane glue?  Also,
what is the best method of detaching from the parts tree without damaging the
piece?

Hy-Flo air pump overhaul02 Mar 2008 20:17 GMT10
I've purchased a vintage Medcalf Bros. Hy-Flo pump off eBay and I plan
to strip it down completely and overhaul it.
I've extracted the two pistons, they are about 12mm diameter and not
'butted' - it's a 12mm wide piston all the way.  The bottom of the
Xtracolor paints02 Mar 2008 16:14 GMT10
When I use Xtracolor enamels as the finish to my aircraft models I must
in many cases eventually use a flat coat  to get rid of the high gloss
finish of the paint.  For years I have used Testors Dullcote to obtain
this final effect and until I started using Xtracolor paints never ...

Monitoring motor temperature01 Mar 2008 19:49 GMT5
Hoping someone can help on a little problem of mine !!
I have a 2.2KW 3phase extractor fan motor which is bifurcated (inside
seperate ducting within the flue).   The fan motor is controlled by a
transformer type device rather than an inverter.  The motor seems to be

trade the unused hi viz markings and a couple of CMK pe F2A & F6 instrument
panels and acetates.
