Bluebird jet boats28 Apr 2008 01:12 GMT7
Anyone ever see plans or a kit?   I started thinking about fast boats,
and realized I have time and space to build a replica, and ....
there's no data beyond photos.   Well, nothing I have found just yet.
Bf109 question (something on topic!!)28 Apr 2008 00:02 GMT8
Ón some pictures of 109s the exhaust stubs are very low on the cowling
while others are up high.  I remember about twenty years ago there wa
someone rebuilding them, but had newer type engines, and the exhausts wer
up high, thus being a telltale that it was not original.  But...now ...
bridgeport series 1 mk2.. Interact..27 Apr 2008 21:26 GMT2
I posted again as I think people are commenting on bridgeport
turrets..
I now have the weight, well found three specs that gave it as 1300kg,
though all three had discrepancies between other specs?

Just bought this off e-bay, visited and paid for and measured today,
sadly it is slightly (3 inches) too big for the space I have, so it is
up for grabs for cost.

Colchester Bantam27 Apr 2008 13:00 GMT3
I'm getting hints about one maybe two Colchester Bantams becoming
available in Eastleigh Hampshire (uk). I've no further information yet
but I've requested more details. They are ex school machines possibly
from the 60s/70s.
RE: "Do we need a replacement group?"27 Apr 2008 04:03 GMT1
There's a new moderated group that might be of interest.  It's format
layout is loosely based on StarshipModeler (with their blessing).  I thin
it's worth a look, and then we can let the pinhead spammers have RMS, sinc
there seems to be no one willing or able to fix the problem.
WTB Cheap 1/32 Plane with 6 or 8 .50 cal wing guns27 Apr 2008 03:51 GMT6
Hi again.
Does any one make an inexpensive 1/32 sale aircraft model that has 6
or 8 .50 cal wing guns? How about Revell/Monogram?
Cheers from Peter
1/32 Packard Engines?27 Apr 2008 03:06 GMT14
I would like to get at least one 1/32 scale Packard engine.
Do any of the *CURRENT IN PRODUCTION* 1/32 aircraft kits come with a
Packard engine?
If not, is there a *CURRENT IN PRODUCTION* 1/32 scale model with an

Usually expensive - technobots.co.uk sell them for 80p for ten - just had
some delivered.   P&P is sensible too.

Do we need a replacement group?26 Apr 2008 21:49 GMT43
I am wondering if the flood of spam is going to basically kill
Usenet.  It is happening to ALL the newsgroups I subscribe to.  I know
droves of people leaving this and other Usenet groups.
I also subscribe to a number of Yahoo groups.  Even when posting
Clarke lathe service26 Apr 2008 17:21 GMT10
I need to remove the main lead screw so I can get at the cross slide to
service it (backlash). I can't see how to separate the lead screw at the
drive end. There is a pin driven though the shaft but I can't move it. Is it
that and do I have to try harder?
