| Bluebird jet boats | 28 Apr 2008 01:12 GMT | 7 |
Anyone ever see plans or a kit? I started thinking about fast boats, and realized I have time and space to build a replica, and .... there's no data beyond photos. Well, nothing I have found just yet.

| Bf109 question (something on topic!!) | 28 Apr 2008 00:02 GMT | 8 |
Ón some pictures of 109s the exhaust stubs are very low on the cowling while others are up high. I remember about twenty years ago there wa someone rebuilding them, but had newer type engines, and the exhausts wer up high, thus being a telltale that it was not original. But...now ...

| RE: "Do we need a replacement group?" | 27 Apr 2008 04:03 GMT | 1 |
There's a new moderated group that might be of interest. It's format layout is loosely based on StarshipModeler (with their blessing). I thin it's worth a look, and then we can let the pinhead spammers have RMS, sinc there seems to be no one willing or able to fix the problem.

| Clarke lathe service | 26 Apr 2008 17:21 GMT | 10 |
I need to remove the main lead screw so I can get at the cross slide to service it (backlash). I can't see how to separate the lead screw at the drive end. There is a pin driven though the shaft but I can't move it. Is it that and do I have to try harder?
