anyone ever try to paint a subject as it appears in  WWII black and
white photos?  figures, buildings, etc... could be an interesting
diversion

can anyone point me in the right direction?.... I want to make a couple of

I am looking for a manual for a Tyzack & Sons lathe.
I cannot find a model number.
However it has a 4 inch chuck, 6 inch face plate & approx 12 inches between
centres.

I need a new 6 inch rotary table and have seen the Vertex offering at a
recent show. Also looking at one from Arc Eurotrade which is a bit
dearer but looks better made. Any experience with these ?

I've gotten some abrasives in my good 3-jaw chuck, and want to clean it out.
Any suggestions? Both water- and oil soluble- abrasives, unfortunately.
Also, how do you dismantle a 3-jaw chuck?
