| What's the oldest part in your parts box? | 27 May 2008 21:46 GMT | 23 |
The thought crossed my mind while replying to another post. For myself I built what I believe was a Revell 1/32nd Spitfire way back in the 70s that allowed for multiple versions. As a result I ended up with an extra cowl scoop and a few other parts that at last recollection are ...

| XB-70 | 27 May 2008 18:57 GMT | 15 |
After a long time of not modeling ( 6 years) I'm in the middle of trying to restart this beast. Is it just me or is this just one of the worse fitting models around? And if the B-52's from the same stable, are just as bad, I will just put them on Ebay. It looks like I'm going

and quite possibly by me, but I've forgotten the answer. Anyone got a link to a list of tool speeds for things like slot drills, end mills and such? I know in theory you can work it out. But I'm lazy. Actually been doing

| Anyone Know Why Hasegawa Hasn't Released Their F-111 Kits In A Long Time? | 26 May 2008 02:17 GMT | 9 |
With the exception of the "spark vark", Hasegawa hasn't released their line of F-111 kits in years. Anyone talk to a hobby shop owner as to why these great kits have remained out of production for so long? Jeff

| Regrinding live centres | 25 May 2008 22:12 GMT | 17 |
I was looking out for a decent new MT2 live centre at Harrogate, there wasn't much about. Chesters had two qualities, the better one looked quite good but I was discouraged from giving them my money by the surly staff response to my enquiries.

| Lathe Facing Problems | 25 May 2008 18:58 GMT | 11 |
I've developed a problem when facing on my lathe, I do a lot of small dia disks (20-40mm) in 6082 Aluminium and when it comes time to polish the face I'm noticing concentric circles appearing on the finished surface. They're not to pronounced, I'm able to polish them out easily ...

Was just dozing when I had a dream this morning that I was just finishing a version of the new 1/32 F-86, after having spent hours with Alclad getting the surface just right. I was about to use the decals, when, in the dream, I spilled a bottle of
