Armor and Acft kits F/S09 May 2008 15:01 GMT1
I have a collection of un-built plastic models, most bought from about
1973 to about 1995. One lot is aircraft and the other military vehicles
and guns.  I used to be a half-decent model builder but no longer have
the desire to do so. I'd like to sell these models as one lot or ...

posts/holders and if they suffer from any on the problems the cheap

I've got a bunch of magazines I'm getting rid of.  If someone's
interested in paying the shipping, I'd be happy to send the magazines
to you rather than throw them away.

need 1/48 Pacific P-47 Razorback parts09 May 2008 01:17 GMT2
OK, I'm working on Neel Kearby's P-47-D Razorback kit using the 1/48 scale
Tamiya kit.  Using the book "Kearby's Thunderbolts" by John C. Stanaway,
there are 2 kit items that are incorrect for the early P-47's used in the
Pacific.  First the front canopy should have a mirror pod ...
Interesting looking auction on this weekend09 May 2008 00:19 GMT3
Hi guys. H & H are running an interesting looking "farm" sale this
weekend just outside Carlisle. I know it clashes with the Harrogate
exhibition (among other things), but it still deserves a mention I
think.
CVA Lathe08 May 2008 21:20 GMT8
I am in the process of doing up a CVA lathe. I noticed while doing a test
turn (about 24 inches long) that the result was not regular. Having removed
the apron I found that the saddle could be twisted slightly and that it does
not rest correctly on the raised vee. I used a marker ...

Thinking ahead to the nex project,  I will need to cut a couple of meccano

Anyone know what spec of cutter I need?

Dragon Ta 15408 May 2008 05:59 GMT28
I see that this kit is being reviewed as a new tool kit. Is this a
fact and is not the Promodeler kit? We know that the
Promodeler Ju 88A-4 and the Dragon Ju 88 kits are related. Not having
the Dragon kit I can't compare it with my Monogram kit. Does anyone
