Following on from my motor problems a couple of weeks ago, and having
regard to the many helpful comments here, I took the plunge and bought a
CL750 1HP motor and inverter set from Newton Tesla*, cost just over
£400. I could see it would have been cheaper to buy the parts

This is just for the record.
Some of you may remember that I bought an ex-school Flamefast CM350
furnace from Manchester. After passng through many hands in a
transport process it arrived with me in Suffolk.

My Skill 1400H1 belt sander gave up on me today - unreasonable really
as I only bought it 14/01/1982 (yes I have the receipt!!!!). The drive
belt has disintegrated leaving only a fraction of shredded material
that measures as an "XL 037" (3/8 wide 0.2" pitch) Cannot trace

Have these in my junk box , have no idea what the first one is, the
second says Granberg File -n- Guide.
Am thinking of using the base of the second one as hss sharpening
guide as the base is adjustable on both planes.

NVR switch, (NO VOLT RELEASE) 240 volt, single phase .
Cant find any nvr's at a suitable price with built in light or without
light, come to that.
Cant find any small lights to fit into nvr that are not switches

Where Can I Get Tiny Drill Bits in the UK27 Jun 2008 16:41 GMT12
After some tiny drill bits for my pin vice - for example, to open up the
barrel of 8mm machine gun in 1/35 (0.2 or 0.25mm).  I nice range up to 1mm
would be good.
Any idea of a reasonably priced source in the UK?

I just picked up four shades of flesh in the AV Model Color range.
I was told to thin it with distilled water. Are there any other
sugegstions?
