Best price so far for Lindberg subs  w/discount coupon too14 Jun 2008 04:35 GMT14
found this price of $98 each for both subs.
use coupon  #  sh561608 in the next 4 days to get 5% off (around $10)
they charged $9.00 to ship the order.  so both subs with shipping will
be under $200.

EF-2000 Typhoon13 Jun 2008 20:49 GMT4
Ok stupid question. But I assume that the Italeri's kit and the Revell
of Germany are infact the same kits. The reason I ask is that I have
the RoG kit # 04551 which ordinance wise looks like the Italeri kit #
2610. The present RoG kit # 04568 seems to have much more in the way

Spam Killers13 Jun 2008 01:27 GMT2
Does anyone out there have the usenet address to report spam, or any
other spam killer addresses?  I have been receiving some spam that
looks very friendly, and accidentally opened one just a whilst ago -
now the stuff will start coming in.
Idea for a new diorama12 Jun 2008 22:01 GMT1
So I was burning a DVD of the ancient movie "Wings" yesterday. Great
movie with some really ggod flight and dogfight scenes in it and I got
hit by a brainphart.
The "Gotha" was a Curtiss NBS bomber, essentially a license-built
Revell B-36 Release question12 Jun 2008 18:44 GMT5
does anyone have the kit handy from the last release a few years ago?
I want to know if that kit has different decals from this upcoming
rerelease. Besides being dumb enough to even consider having two of
these monsters, I would rather not have them with identical decals.
Removing a broken tap12 Jun 2008 12:17 GMT14
I thought this may be of interest to the group as it's been a topic a
few times inthe recent past. I recently discovered a model steam
engine casting I'd buggered as a teenager some 35 odd years ago by
breaking a 7BA tap in a hole. Given the prices Stuarts are charging
Python 3,4 & 5  Drawings11 Jun 2008 17:13 GMT1
Does anyone know where I could find some 3 or 4 view annotated
drawings of the Python family of A2A missiles, preferably in 1/72 or 1/48?
as I'm looking to scratchbuild some.
Thanks... Simon
sheet metal shears and cutting 3mm aluminium11 Jun 2008 11:55 GMT2
I have in mind to buy, possibly pre-owned to meet my budget, sheet metal
shears that will cut 3mm aluminium. I'm after the type that you bolt on
to a bench and it will have a fairly long handle.
I mean like:
What is the grade of aluminium sheet for electronic enclosures and panels?11 Jun 2008 10:28 GMT5
I have a choice, I just wonder what grade of aluminium I should be
selecting for my electronic projects. I'm wanting to use 3mm thick.
Monogram AC-47...11 Jun 2008 06:25 GMT5
Just got my AC-47 2 days ago. I seen the instructions and get this, no side
views for the decals or pain scheme....
That sucks!!!
