wigglers09 Jun 2008 06:32 GMT6
I just bought a silverline wiggler. When I was an apprentice (over 20 years

Now, this wiggler has 4 pieces. I have only ever used one, so I am not sure
Trashed motor08 Jun 2008 22:50 GMT13
I just foolishly tried to engage the clutch on my S7 with the spindle
locked. Medium loud bang, ring main c/b tripped. Switched off,
disengaged, reset c/b, tried again (properly this time). Another bang
and c/b tripped, and also this time the plug fuse blew.

Need someone who knows about wooden ship models08 Jun 2008 00:36 GMT3
One of the tech reps I work with has a wooden ship model his granddad made.
Time has been a bit rough on the old girl. I told him I didn't have the skills
but I knew some people that might.
He's in KY around Frankfort/Louisville area.
Question on Japanese tutorials on You Tube07 Jun 2008 21:59 GMT3
I got addicted to watching all those Japanese tutorials on model making
on You Tube, especially those posted by sleepylafiel, which seem to come
out of the same video studio. I have found them most informative,
especially in the painting and weathering, even though they are in

Is anyone with a Transit-sized pick-up truck or larger (not really big,
I know) making a journey from the south west (Somerset/Wiltshire area)
to the Midlands (Shropshire)? I know it's a long shot, but I thought I'd
ask. I might be buying some JCB parts which need transporting. ...

Inverter drives06 Jun 2008 06:32 GMT23
In view of my cack-handed wrecking of my S7 motor (see separate thread),
I am looking at a potential excuse to spend some cash on a 3-phase motor
and inverter drive. Always liked the potential for speed control, good
torque at low speeds, smoother running etc and was toying with ...
