Thanks for looking!  Most ship for $6.00 to the lower 48.  I'll ship

shipped overseas, and I don't know if I want to try this time or
not.....

How sealed is a sealed bearing15 Jul 2008 22:02 GMT7
I have an oily problem with a dynamo on an old engine. Oil leaks from
the engine, past the drive gear, lubricates a ball bearing (which it
is supposed to do), defeats a felt seal and then soaks the dynamo
windings.

alt.binaries Gone15 Jul 2008 17:28 GMT3
Just opened my news reader and all of the alt. groups were gone.  Many
thanks to ATT/SBC, they succumbed to pressure from the PC police.
Does anyone out there have a site where one can recapture the alt.
groups?  Any help will be appreciated.

Dear oh dear14 Jul 2008 03:46 GMT2
Is the 50+ year old pervert John Bunty/Guy Fawkes still boasting of
his prowess inside 13 year olds underwear then? (and 12 year olds
depending on how fast they mature)
What a dirty dirty old man.
Adjusting a Chester Metal Cutting Bandsaw to cut square13 Jul 2008 23:27 GMT5
I have a small Chester H110 metal cutting band saw which periodically decides
to cut less square than I would like.  When I first bought it, it cut
decidely squint, but the cause was obiously work shifting in the "rapid
action" vice and Chester duly replaced it with one which works ...
holding small flat jobs13 Jul 2008 23:05 GMT7
I had occasion the other day to contemplate milling a smallish flat bit of
metal to reduce its thickness a bit.  it's L shaped and roughly 2" on a
side, and about 3mm thick.
Since holing it in the drill vice is obviously not going to work, and I

Hi Folks, does anyone out there have access to a decent set of viggen
plans, have the airfix kit and would like to do something with it

Hi, I`m in the market for a rotary table. I`ve been looking at the 4"

been told that a 6" will fit, i`m a bit confused (that doesnt take
much these days) because the base measurement on a 6" RT is 220x160
Aerosol cutting fluid - anyone using it?12 Jul 2008 17:06 GMT25
I purchased 3   x  400ml aerosol cans of 'oily brown gunge' from Scewfix a
couple of years ago at quite a reasonable price (about £3.60) but I now find
that they no longer stock it.
