I'm planning on building a 1/72 model of this a/c, using the Revell B1/BIII kit as the base. Can anyone advise what a typical load would be in the bomb (weapons) bay? Not the 'Cookie & normal HE load,as provided in the kit, I'm sure!

| Problem Cutting 12 tooth Spur Gear | 04 Aug 2008 18:03 GMT | 2 |
I need to make a 12 tooth 20DP 14.5 degree involute spur gear. I've cut plenty of low tooth count cycloidal clock gears, but this is the first time I've tried to make an involute gear. I started with a blank (12 + 2)/20 = 0.700 inch diameter, and mounted this on a mandrel

| Mounting quick change toolpost on Bantam question | 03 Aug 2008 22:10 GMT | 4 |
I've decided to add a piston type quick change toolpost from Chronos (same as the Arc Euro one) to my Bantam 800 (MK1); the problem is that the current toolpost is retained by a large diameter clamping bolt (looks to be about 1 1/4" or 32mm diameter) threaded into the top slide ...

Has anyone come across/used a Rehmann TIG 200 TIG welder? ...are they any good? Although they say they are German built, I've heard they are, infact, Chinese imports to Germany and exported from there. It seems funny that if you Google "Rehmann" the main references are to

| How does one dissasemble a Burnerd four jaw chuck? | 02 Aug 2008 12:40 GMT | 2 |
Having taken the four jaw of the ML7 tonight and put the three jaw on to do some rough work, I thought that the four jaw could do with a bit more of a clean up than it normally gets. I'm sure that there is a simple method for removing the jaw screws from the

| Vulcan Beam Engine drawings. | 01 Aug 2008 12:19 GMT | 1 |
I have acquired a set of castings for the Vulcan Beam Engine featured in the Model Engineer construction series started in October 1954. Would any kind soul happen to have a set of drawings languishing on a shelf somewhere that they are willing to exchange for beer tokens?

| Seeking 1/24th or 1/25th Ford Model A Fender Sets | 01 Aug 2008 08:46 GMT | 1 |
Are there any aftermarket sets with the above parts? I'm asking because a good friend in Florida has been building Model As for a long time and he's gotten to the point that he can scratchbuild chassis frames using Solo plastic plates, sprue runner parts and swizzle sticks. He's ...

I need to mark some hole positions out on a cast-iron lathe backplate is it OK to use a transfer punch and give it a good wallop? Or could i fracture? I've never worked with c.i. before but vaguely feel it migh be "brittle".
