Whilst working on the Revell Jaguar, I've started on the Revell Hunter F6 in1/72 scale. The instructions show the ejection seat as having a blue seat cushion and rust red seat back. The few ejection seats that I've seen were fairly drab affairs with brown and buff fabric. Are

For many years (since Micronet days) I have been bouncing around the Newsgroups. To all of you who know me or have heard of me I bid you a fond farewell in advance. Unfortunately it’s looking like MrBlueSkye will be clocking off for good shortly. A recent emergency visit and ...

| Saws for metal | 01 Oct 2008 10:33 GMT | 20 |
For larger bar stock, the bandsaw is generally used. For smaller stock, say 1", can you use a chop-type rotary saw? They are much cheaper, but I don't know about toothed blades for metal. I have one with an abrasive blade, but it isn't very effective or economic.

| somewhat off topic | 01 Oct 2008 02:09 GMT | 20 |
There was a story on the telly last night (Fri) about a guy that jumped from a plane, and jetted across the English Channel. I missed the very beginning of the story but it sounded like his 4 small jets and wing contraption weighed in at about 100 lbs. and he reached top speed of ...
