About fifty years ago I remember using a brazing torch that was

I am building a VFS P47D Bubbletop.
I want to make the model to represent the RAF machine in Burma.
According to Aircraft Profile 7 this machine would have been an
equivalent of a P47D-25.

Hello, I need to drill & tap an M4 0.7 x 15mm hole in the ends of a few high
tensile 8.8 steel bolts.
I've been using a 3.2mm drill followed by a HSS tap from a cheap box set
with limited success, it's taking approx 1/2 hr each hole.

Can anyone explain to me how to understand how to interperate diagonal
lines on a drawing.  When I try to find reference lines with a pair of
dividers on the front view they don't match the curved lines on the
diagonal shaye under the elevation

I have recently aquired a Tadco Autogard 250 tapping device with a No2
Morse Taper shank.
Before I bust any taps can anybody tell me how they work. Does this

I've always accepted the fact that wjhen I retire, I'll get a lot more
modelling done. However, I have to question that assumption.
For the past couple of years, I have worked fewer hours than previously and

Noticed yesterday that the old J&S 540 surface grinder, which doesn't get
used much, was acting strange. When the cross table traverse feed is in use,
it slows down the x axis power feed?
I checked, and topped up the oil, so apart from that I am at a loss.
