Amongst some other items I am expecting delivery of, is a Denford Cyclone CNC lathe. Apparently when turned on the Fanuc OT controller comes up with some sort of error code, which the previous owner, a school, couldn't sort out.

ok, first question: i just ordered Verlinden's cockpit set for the 1/32 Hasa Hellcat. this will be my first time working with resin. is there anything special i need to be aware of or treat it pretty much like any other kit? same goes for the photo-etch now that i think

If I have a hand reamer with a parallel shank can it somehow be "floated" from the tailstock to ream a drilled hole or must a machine reamer with tapered shank in a floating chuck be used ? Or at the end of the day is it better to just use the hand reamer by

My staking set (a clockmaker's tool) made by Favorite of Switzerland has a damaged thread on the stud that locks the turntable and I want to replace it. The thread is 6.97 mm diameter x 1.0 mm pitch but I can't find it listed in Tubal Cain's book or the Zeus tables. Can anybody ...
