Quick grab a Bunt bargain03 Mar 2009 12:22 GMT1
Pmsl.. He's put the price of his his shitty old monitor down from £300
notes to £1.
He must be getting really desperate to pay the £37k legal debt that he
ran up trying to defraud ISPs.
Material for exhaust gasket03 Mar 2009 10:13 GMT8
This is slightly off topic but I`m looking for a suitable material to
make a exhaust gasket for a two stroke chainsaw.  Its a  easy shape to
make basically its rectangular with a rectangular cutout and two holes
for the mounting bolts - just wondering what material would be
Benches for small lathes03 Mar 2009 00:38 GMT1
I have been restoring a 4" centre height Lorch-Schmidt lathe taking
20mm collets.  It's now reached the stage when it needs a bench and
drive system.  The main drive from countershaft to the lathe is a flat
leather belt and I have been planning to drive the countershaft from a

For some time I have had a Pollard Corona 13 AY Drill installation on my
round -2-it list. It is a 8 speed floor standing beastie from the 50s
and was the prototype for all brick sh*t house designs.
The 8 speeds are obtained with a two ratio gearbox and a 4 speed pole
Making an air rifle02 Mar 2009 03:44 GMT30
I've always fancied trying to make an air rifle - I'd buy the barrel
from somewhere as rifling it looks difficult with the equipment I have
to hand. Does anyone know if a licence is required for manufacture (it
would be under the 12ft/lbs limit)?
IPMS in dire trouble02 Mar 2009 01:58 GMT1

will soon be  thing of the past. Journal will soon be emailed, Dave can no
longer afford the private jet and will go Greyhound--entire leadership are
at each others throats.
More sale items - better format01 Mar 2009 23:52 GMT29
I set up a small website since I did not like how the posting got formatted
on this and other forums. If you go you will see that there will be quite a
bit on there eventually (hopefully not, hopefully people will buy it form
me!)
Plea to kit manufacturers01 Mar 2009 22:55 GMT19
I wish kit manufacturers would NOT design kits so that one must mount
tailwheel assembly BEFORE gluing fuselage halfs together.  One must then
mask off the tailwheel assembly AND the fuselage interior in that area.
This can be a real pain.

if you need any other pc stuff, you can get the shipping down by combining.
Old Aurora Iwo Jima Flag Raising Kit - Was It Ever Reissued ?01 Mar 2009 18:04 GMT2
I know I built it once, with the figures with gaps large enough to
drive through. Even hand painted the flag with gloss paints !   them
were the days when modeling was fun and carefree....... I digress.
Was this kit ever repopped?    Sounds like a job for Moebius.
3 phase - the ultimate irony!01 Mar 2009 12:58 GMT8
Tuesday last week EDF were supposed to overhead cable a three phase
supply to my workshop and come back on Thursday to fit the meter.
Tuesday brought 12 contractors from 'Freedom', and 9 vehicles
including a low loader with excavator as they'd decided to replace the
