(Slightly OT): Angle grinders.05 Apr 2009 00:03 GMT7
I know this is not really "model" engineering, but I'm hoping someone
can solve a recurring problem I have with 9" angle grinders:
The f***ing nut that holds the disk on keeps overtightening so I have to
use an extender bar to unlock it.

Shelf-life of Araldite?03 Apr 2009 22:56 GMT5
I went to use my trusty Araldite only to find that
the tops would not unscrew, and my attempts to
do it were twisting up the tubes themselves, with
a rupture likely.

It has been 13 years - almost to the day - that we first announced the
availability of Strip-A-Kit here on RMS.
Now it is our sad task to report that the product will no longer be
available and that we have exhausted all of
Transport wanted or offered?01 Apr 2009 11:57 GMT7

Transwave 4KW rotary 3 phase converter01 Apr 2009 07:56 GMT1
I have a 4 kW (5.25 HP) Transwave rotary three phase converter that is
now surplus as I've had 3 phase installed. It'll go on eBay unless
someone here wants it. Current list price is £725 plus £35 carriage so
something less than that is acceptable!

Getting It Dirty White?01 Apr 2009 06:27 GMT5

white? Or lacking that, a combination of primer and some other paint
(white) to get a dirty white sort of color?
