The best way to tell a manufacturer that their prices are to high is
to vote with your dollars. Dont buy the kit! And if you have the time
write them and tell them in no uncertain terms you will NOT buy their
over priced kits.

not too many kits were made in this scale.   this subject would have
made a great 1/35 diorama subject.
what's the history behind 1/40 and its incompatibility with 1/35 and
1/48 ?

fox movies is running flight of the phoenix today. the real one, you know,
with jimmy and curt and richard and peter. you know, the good one. just
watched jimmy swallow some pride and write pilot error.

getting started we found several of the gears were missing. Is Revell USA a
source for parts if the kit was molded by Revell ...

Has anyone got a full set of parameters for a Bridgeport Interact series 1
with a Heidenhain 151 controller please.
Power failure at workshop wiped the machine parameters, despite have good
backup batteries, which is worrying to say the least.

I have an old machine possibly from the 60's that specifies use of
Wakefield V oil in a dashpot. Wakefield was the forerunner to Castrol Oils.
Can anyone suggest what viscosity oil this might have been and a modern
equivalent.

Okay the combination of my having recently seen "Sinking of the
Bismarck", learning about an upcoming 1/144th scale kit, and then then
threads here about kit prices,  Swordfish, Civilian workers onboard,
old war movies and 1/44th scale tanks prompts me to post about this 6

I need to duplicate a screw from an old (circa 1910) British machine, but I
can't identify the thread from my references. Does anybody recognise it? 36
TPI with a diameter across the thread of 0.135".
