Need painting info- Union artillery crew31 Aug 2009 14:46 GMT5
Many of the crew provided are wearing kits, so I would say it is winter
months gear.  I can see basic colors- tops dark blue and pants medium
blue, but there are tassles and such on hats- what color are these
things. Also little cords on coats or shirts. Were artillery uniforms
Patternmaking foam31 Aug 2009 14:38 GMT2
I love that stuff pattern makers use these days, and would like to get
some for a project I will be starting (ship with scratch hull).  A four
by eight sheet is too expensive for me, even though it might last a

Not quite model engineering but worth a try...31 Aug 2009 08:17 GMT14
My neighbour, aware of my engineering interests and workshop, has
asked for some assistance with one of his old tractors.  It has
adjustable width front axle as shown in the photo at

thought it was just another british airplane31 Aug 2009 07:46 GMT13
given the Brits record of naming their aircraft names that would
encite fear to their enemy (Fruitbat)  I naturally thought this was
another british airplane. It would have also helped if I had my
reading glasses on that the time I searched.

I've posted pictures of my three latest completed kits. They are the
Breitling Orbiter 3, Man on the Moon, & Trumpeter's fire engine. All
were quite an experience to build.

PC133 SDRAM - just on the off chance30 Aug 2009 09:02 GMT37
Bought a couple of 256mb sticks of PC133 sdram on Ebay last week to upgrade
my antique 733mhz pentium to its maximum 512mb and sod's law it turned out

SILVERDRIVE phase converters29 Aug 2009 21:09 GMT1
Does anyone know anything about these converters please.
