Recently at the Cinci show, I saw a A-12 that had flat flight wires from the
wing to the fuslage.

for years I just glued these things onto the hips of 1/35 Germans. Now
I want to actually have a figure drinking out of one.
anyone know how it looks when open?   Is the lid attached by a strap
of leather? Is the lid also a cup?

This is a shameless piece of self publicity so I'll keep it
short and to the point!      
 A long time ago I wrote a little book called "Electric

Not exactly a model one. Sorry, but a neighbour of mine has broken a
Garden fork tine, spike, whatever, off. and he is desperate to get it
repaired, as it belonged to his father.  It is an end piece and has
broken on the right angle bend.  The break surface looks a bit like

Friend of mine picked up a Hercus model A lathe in very nice condition.
Problem is the Bernerd 3 jaw chuck is missing one inside jaw and two out
side jaws.
It's a 4 inch chuck model no N30-MC and the jaw numbers are 11436.

there are a few threads on several forums about the Lindberg 1/144 USS
Arizona, none of which are positive. People say its junk, they are
confused as to what Lindbergs intentions really are as to whether or
not  the kit will ever be released, etc.

fedex just delivered my 1/72 Lindberg sub.  opened it all up and taped
the hull sections together and put it on the mantle.
took up the whole damn thing.      not the slightest idea where this
is going to go when/if built.    but then we don't think about such
