I'm working on building equipment and aircraft
of the Korean War.  I've been researching it and
reading a few books.  Two things have appeared

I have finally taken the plunge and bought a Bridgeport mill.... well
the Adcock built version of it actually J2B with the vari-speed head,
the machine is 3 phase and I only have single phase here, so...it has
one of the modern ad-on drives to the X-axis (110volt) and a coolant

If any of you trip over a Laycock 1551 'Garage Press' - it's a 60 ton
H frame hand operated hydraulic press - then I'm seeking one
currently. Bit bigger than the average model engineer would use but
you never know!

I have a disk of aluminium alloy, thickness 8 mm, OD approx 70 mm, with
a 25 mm hole in the centre. I need to turn this down to OD 50mm.
Can anyone suggest a good way to do this in a mini lathe (a Sieg C2A),
please?

I have concluded it is time to find web based groups.  I will hang

I have just aquired a Clarkson radius attachment for the tool and
cutter grinder, does anyone have any instruction leaflets for setting
one up which I could buy or maybe copy.

The website no longer shows it at 'Stage 8' (08- Mold making continues).
Does this mean it's at 9, 10 or 11 (09 - Fitting of mold. 10 - Testing of
mold. 11 - Production begins!)?
Anyone heard when it's due for release?  I've been waiting for two years

    I am looking forward to the Tamiya BT-7, and I suppose,
   the Dragon M-7 Priest, but really, I'd like a good Jumbo
