Wanted - Atlas Commander14 Oct 2003 02:55 GMT1
Does anyone want to sell [or give away ;>)] a Commander that they no longer
use since they moved up to a larger system?
Mine is out of warranty and I accidentally fried it with over voltage.
Even though it is a weaker system I do use it with the xpressnet with

Perth Hobbies13 Oct 2003 14:15 GMT2
Perth Hobbies have an advert in AMRM, and have the cheapest prices in
Australia for Peco accessories.  Has anyone dealt with them?
Their website is at http://www.perthhobbies.com/ but it appears to be
down.  Has it ever been up?

Can anyone please tell me when the maroon livery was introduced for British
Railways carriage livery, and when Mk 1 suburban stock is first likely to

What are these (Bachmann Bulleid coaches)13 Oct 2003 13:10 GMT5
I managed to get some of those Bachmann Bulleid brake ends in green.
Transpired that Hattons was the only place that still had them while having
none of the others!
Anyway, they arrived this morning and are lovely.

Any pointers appreciated!

Do to the apparent overwhelming positive response, I thought it would be nice
to change the title of this thread :-)  We have used them for many, many years,
have had some rebuilt by Dremel. Great for cutting track.

newbie - value of old 1940's Lionel O-scale trains13 Oct 2003 05:10 GMT2
Hi - I have an old O-scale train set from the 1940's.   It's a set of Lionel
stuff.  I haven't unpacked it all yet but I was wondering if anyone can tell me
what it might be worth or what the individual units might be worth separately.
I have at the very least a steam engine and ...
L.M.S. "layout:13 Oct 2003 02:21 GMT68
I have just enough room for a 18" x 13' (18" x 20', if I "bend" it
around a corner of my room) layout.
When the Bachmann 3F "Jintey" comes on the market, I may purchase one or
two and re- kindle my interests in an L.M.S. layout.
