When is this going to be released

Another wheel/truck question:
Regarding the Walthers and the Roundhouse "ore cars", what size Atlas
trucks would they use? I am guessing a 55-ton Atlas truck [150-185000].
If it is the 55-ton truck, is that also a 33" wheel?

What is the colour that is sprayed onto a loco or rolling stock to get the
weathered look and is it mixed with a varnish.

I had to laugh when I saw the Pic but it set me thinking.  During the 39-45 war several British rail companies converted engines to act as Fire Engines in their Marshalling yards.  Does anyone know of American Locos or Cars converted for Fire-fighting.

  I've successfully stripped all factory paint from a plastic (Athearn) boxcar
(with Scalecoat stripper).  Now I'm wondering if I need to seal the plastic
before I paint it (as Scalecoat seems to say), or is using a primer adequate ?

Has anyone tried the MRC Prodigy Diesel Synchro Sound station model AD750?
This appears to be an inexpensive way to get into locomotive sound FX  but
I'm sure there are drawbacks.   Comments?
