conducting epoxy glue24 Oct 2003 12:47 GMT5
Anyone know of a UK source of conducting epoxy glue?
It looks like a handy way to retro-fit some power feeds.

Trademarks and Such24 Oct 2003 08:00 GMT13
Seems Caterpillar is suing Disney over Trademarks.  The new George of the
Jungle movie depicts Cats tearing down jungle.  George fights back.
Caterpillar management feels this will put their company and trademark in a
bad light and might hurt their line of toys.  Watch out for UP.

MP36PH model?23 Oct 2003 22:14 GMT7
For you "connected" individuals: has any heard of any manufacturer planning
to create a MP36PH model to go with those Athearn Bombadier passenger cars?
Caltrain has 6 on order and a couple delivered. I think Metra runs them,
too. Motive power for the Bombadiers would be nice. I ...
BR MK1 coach roundels...23 Oct 2003 21:55 GMT6
I have noticed something strange about Bachmann's new N gauge MK1
coaches.  Some of them do not have the British Railways coach roundel
(heraldic coat of arms) on the side.  Specifically this seems to
affect the Southern RMB (374-100) (buffet), the Southern SK (371-051)

Baseboard Materials23 Oct 2003 20:24 GMT111
What are the preferred materials for baseboard construction? I will
shortly begin building an 11ftx11ft layout with a central area approx
4ftx2ft. This will be in my loft. It will be semi permanent, i.e. I will
make it such that I can get it out of the loft if I sell the house ...

Just been browsing the web and noticed that on the model mentioned above

though maybe it was the welsh version of the word 'engineer'? If the latter
is true then why to all the references to the real loco say ...

Painting the Peco OO turntable well23 Oct 2003 13:51 GMT2
I'd like to paint my Peco turntable well but having never seen one in real
life and with photographs being shot from ground level, I'm  unsure of how
best to finish it.
I suspect the concrete walls stayed reasonably clean, but would the base
A question of dirt...23 Oct 2003 08:28 GMT3
Just out of interest, how many people who frequent this newsgroup weather
their own models, and how many would be quite happy to purchase
