I have a new ish BR 0-6-0- Class J83 that is acting up. It lurges and stalls, esp. on curves. I am running it as 00 on a digitrax powered layout. All other locos are fine. track is clean etc. I cleaned the wheels, including the inside, but no help.

Now that we have the new MR, check out Walthers" ad on page 83. Some of their Built-up buildings are now available as kits. They are molded in grey, rather than colors, so you can paint them. One would expect that a kit would be less expensive than a built up

I just bought my son his first train we got him the Pennsylvania flyer starter kit. Reading the directions it seems that the train should always start forwards however, it always starts in reverse. It came with a CW-80 transformer and the Lionel fastrack system. The reversing

If you want to avoid the bit walking all over the place, cut the bit in half so it is now not so long. Cut it as short as you can and have it useful. The drill will be stiffer and do less walking. Another trick is to put a tube sleeve over most of the bit exposing only a

I just got one of the new SD50's from Athearn, and to my surprise, it wasn't as "DCC-ready" as I felt the advertisment and the slogan on the box is trying to impress. As it turns out, there is a plug which fits directly into any Digitrax decoder with 9 wires, and some cloudy ...
