Lenz DCC query07 Dec 2003 09:55 GMT3
I have a Lenz LZV100 base unit and the LH100 handheld. Got hold of a second
handheld a bit later, but of course without expressnet I can't use the both
of them at the same time, for those times when mates come round for a drive!
Looks like I need to get a LA152 adaptor, my question ...

Battery Powered HO Loco?07 Dec 2003 04:13 GMT9
Does anyone know of a company that manufacturers a battery powered HO gauge
locomotive? My modular HO club uses reed switches for controlling signals and
track power to the corresponding blocks. It is a pain at startup to go around
and open all the reed switch circuits with a magnet ...

I want to start a model rail road, What gauge would you reccomend, I see
that HO is most popular, however the O gauge lionels look most realistic to

Traction tyres06 Dec 2003 17:36 GMT3
If I take them off, will the loco appear lopp-sided? I want to improve
electrical pick-up by collecting power from all the wheels, will this work?
Thanks,
Neal.
Kato "sprue parts" question.06 Dec 2003 13:48 GMT4
I have the Kato n scale corrugated passenger set.  On the RPO car it appears
there are enough parts to put either a safty bar across the door OR install
the mail bag catcher.  I assume you are not suppose to put them all in,
correct?  Also, there are 4 pieces of mail bag catcher.  ...
Is soldering a absolute must?06 Dec 2003 10:21 GMT23
I started a layout and you all have been alot of help!
Hopefully I can contribute someday... This layout is about 30 by 12 N

CPH Railmotor - Lloyds or Casula?06 Dec 2003 06:37 GMT4
I'm planning to get a CPH Railmotor kit at some stage,
I've noticed that both Lloyds and Casula Hobbies both make CPH kits but
not sure which one to get. Lloyds is slightly more expensive, but both
look good.

Road Name Index06 Dec 2003 03:15 GMT6
Is there a comprehensive source of railroad road names, abbreviations

Thanks.
