Can someone here tell me which coupler kit I need to change out the N
scale diesel loco made by life like ? The diesel is a BN GP38 and the item
nnumber is 7841

The manual for the Atlas Commander DCC system is unclear as to what
power supplies can be used to add additional power to the system.  It
clearly states that the 'Generator', which is used as the first power
source and drives the Commander, should not be used for additional

I just learned how to fix those reddish photos my digital camera insist on

I'm working on a gondola project -- the prototype was built ca. 1910, rebuilt
in the mid 1920s, and then upgraded with new ends and brakes about 1940.  My
layout is based on the mid 1960s, so the car has been around for a while.

Running two trains on the 4x8: the Pennsy FOM set on the O-42 loop and
McDonald's fast freight on the inner O-31 loop. Well the RealTrax popped a
joint and the McD boxcar and Archer-Daniels-Midland tank car doubled up and
almost sideswiped the crack passenger train on the outer loop ...

I'm thinking of incorporating a saw mill on my layout, but have a few
questions.  
1st.  Why are the logs put in a pond before cutting?

I'm building a two-rail O scale timesaver based on Emrys Hopkin's "Less than
